Marketing Intern
Note: We recruit for interns 3 times a year. Please specify which internship and the time frame in your cover letter. Applications for the fall can be submitted in July/August, for the winter/spring in November/December, and for the summer in March/April.
Responsibilities:
Help with day-to-day marketing strategy activities
Market research
Event set-up and promotion
Skills/Experience:
Proven ability to work independently and take initiative
Experience and coursework in marketing preferred
Great interpersonal and written communication skills
Interest/experience in sustainability consulting
General understanding of Internet technologies
Additional Information:
Part-time (15-20 hours/week)
Compensation: Stipend dependent on results
Location: Can work remotely but DC-based intern preferred
Duration: 3.5 months, with option for extension

Research Intern

Research topics related to sustainability on an as-needed basis
Provide background materials for consulting projects (ranges from green building design to green procurement practices)
Summarize research results
Skills/Experience:
Strong research and analytical skills
Ability to quickly and concisely summarize data
Good verbal and written communication skills
Proven ability to work independently and take initiative
Interest/experience in sustainability consulting
General understanding of Internet technologies
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Part-time (15-20 hours/week)
